The Nook || A Daytime Eatery
In 2019, restaurant owners Annette and Sean Anderson were given an opportunity to step out from the shadow of franchise ownership to become a true mom and pop restaurant. Thus, becoming The Nook, A Daytime Eatery. Still being able to provide the community with the freshest homestyle cooking, Annette and Sean needed assistance in rebranding without straying too far from what customers already came to love. Annette and Sean wanted to make sure The Nook kept true to the existing core values, making great meals and building relationships within the community they have already worked so hard to build. In collaboration with The Brand Agency, we set to work on developing a logo and voice that would capture that modern grandma’s-kitchen appeal. Keeping customer experience in the forefront was key. From a clean, easy to read menu, to the warm smile greeting them at the door, to the Facebook review they would graciously leave. Each touch point needed to remain consistent so it was apparent the brand style guide was first to tackle. Followed by the signage, menus, collateral and street appeal.
